Welcome to Skimbox Resources

Aman Shams

A new home for our writing, news, and case studies. Here is what we are building and what to expect over the coming months.

Welcome to Skimbox Resources

We have moved everything we publish, including blogs, company news, podcast, guides, case studies, and our portfolio, onto a single home at skimbox.co/resources. This post is a quick tour.

What you will find here

The hub is split into six sections, each with its own purpose.

  • Blogs: practitioner writing on the work we do.
  • News: Skimbox milestones and industry updates.
  • Guides: long-form, opinionated playbooks.
  • Podcast: conversations with founders and operators.
  • Case Studies: measurable outcomes for clients.
  • Portfolios: selected projects from our work.

Looking for something specific?

The search at the top of the hub indexes every section. Tags on each post link to a filtered list.

Why we rebuilt this

Our writing used to live on a separate WordPress install at resources.skimbox.co. It worked, but it was disconnected from the rest of the site, ran on a different stack, and made cross-linking awkward.

The new system is part of the same Next.js app that runs skimbox.co. Every post is a static file. No database, no admin panel. This means the site loads fast, deploys are atomic, and the content is version-controlled alongside the code.

How posts are structured

Every post supports rich content beyond plain text.

Quotes, callouts, image galleries, and code blocks all render with care for typography and reading rhythm.

We support three kinds of callouts: info, tip, and warning.

Prices and dates may change

Anything we write about pricing, regulations, or deadlines reflects the moment of writing. Always confirm the latest with the relevant authority.

Reading on any device

The reading layout adapts. On desktop, you get a sticky table of contents on the right and share buttons on the left. On mobile, the table of contents collapses to a tap-to-expand block at the top of the post.

Light and dark, your choice

Top-right of any resources page, you will find a theme toggle. It cycles between system, light, and dark. Your preference is saved locally.

What is next

We are seeding the new hub with content from the old WordPress site over the coming weeks. New writing will land here directly. If you want to be notified when something new goes live, subscribe to the email below.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is Skimbox Resources?

Skimbox Resources is a single hub at skimbox.co/resources that hosts our blogs, news, guides, podcast, case studies, and portfolios. It replaced our old WordPress site at resources.skimbox.co and is built into the main Next.js app so loads are fast and SEO is tight.

  • What kind of content will I find here?

Six categories: practitioner blog posts on the work we do, company and industry news, long-form how-to guides, podcast episodes with founders and operators, measurable client case studies, and selected portfolio projects from our team.

  • How often is new content published on Skimbox Resources?

We publish one to three pieces a week across the hub. Blog posts and news are the most active categories. Podcast episodes ship roughly twice a month. Guides and case studies land monthly.

  • Why did Skimbox move off WordPress?

Our writing used to live on a separate WordPress install at resources.skimbox.co. It worked, but it was disconnected from the main site, ran on a different stack, and made cross-linking awkward. The new system is part of the same Next.js app and is version-controlled with the code.

  • Are all the articles in English or Arabic?

All articles on Skimbox Resources are in English at launch. Arabic versions are not planned at this stage. The main marketing site at skimbox.co continues to support both languages for service pages and core navigation.

  • How do I search for a specific topic on Skimbox Resources?

Use the search input at the top of the hub. It indexes every section: blogs, news, guides, podcast, case studies, and portfolios. Tags on each post also link to a filtered list of related content.

  • Can I subscribe to new Skimbox articles?

Yes. There is an email signup at the bottom of every article and on the resources homepage. You only get notified when new content goes live, never marketing spam.

  • Is there an RSS feed for Skimbox Resources?

Yes. The combined RSS feed lives at /resources/rss.xml and covers all article-style content (blogs, news, guides). You can add it to any feed reader or news aggregator.

  • Does Skimbox Resources support dark mode?

Yes. There is a theme toggle on every resources page that cycles between system, light, and dark. Your preference is saved locally so it persists across visits.

  • Where do old Skimbox blog URLs redirect to now?

Every old resources.skimbox.co URL 301-redirects to its new home under skimbox.co/resources/news or skimbox.co/resources/portfolios. SEO authority transfers cleanly. The old WordPress install will stay live for at least 12 months as a safety net.

  • Who writes the content on Skimbox Resources?

The Skimbox team writes everything in house. Founder Aman Shams personally edits long-form pieces. We do not outsource writing to content agencies and we do not publish AI-generated filler.

  • Can I republish or quote Skimbox articles?

Short quotes with a link back to the original article are welcome. Full republication needs written permission. Email aman@skimbox.co with the article URL and where you want to publish.

  • How is the Skimbox Resources site built?

Next.js 14 App Router, MDX content stored as files in the repo, statically generated at build time. No database, no admin panel, no CMS dependency. Every post is version-controlled alongside the rest of the codebase.

  • Where do I report a typo or error on a Skimbox article?

Email aman@skimbox.co with the article URL and the issue. We fix typos within 24 hours and add an updatedAt timestamp on the article so you can see when it was revised.

  • How do I contact Skimbox for a project after reading an article?

Every article ends with a contact CTA that links to skimbox.co/contact-us. You can also email aman@skimbox.co directly. We respond to project enquiries within one business day.
